Rob: I have this question of how to experience ourselves as divine beings, in all practicality. In this physical body, in the physical form, what does that look like? What does it feel like? How do we ensure that we are, in fact, fulfilling our role as a divine being while here?
AA Uriel: This is Uriel. First and foremost, as was alluded in your conversation previously (prior to the channeling), it is fundamentally about remembering. So as you are going through life, maintaining yourself in a state of awareness that there is way more to your life, to your existence, than what is happening seemingly in your life, on the surface, as you go through your daily activities, holding to that idea that there is so much more to you. This is the first step.
And then at that point, it is, in fact, about surrendering. Yes, your Higher Self has a plan. You are part of that, as is every other part of your existence, every other lifetime. Past, future, the here and now, they are all part of that divine plan.
So surrender yourself to the idea that no matter what transpired or will transpire in any of those lives is in support of your plan, of your reason for being here, which is ultimately a learning experience. All experiences are for teaching you something about yourself, and this is true even in the higher realms. All experiences are to demonstrate to you that you are, in fact, a divine being, part of the One, part of that singular divinity that is the All.
And as you start to wrap your head around that, of course, you will behave differently. You will view all that happens in your life from a different perspective, that it is all for a reason. None of it is bad, no matter what it looks like on the surface. It’s all for a purpose.
And I’d like to add one point. So this group, this circle, is fond of reciting the expression to “Trust, Surrender and Allow.” I’d like to touch on the difference between surrender and allow. Of course, behind it all, in order to operate from this position of being in physicality, but fulfilling your portion of the divine plan, requires a tremendous amount of Trust.
You are trusting that even if you do not see the plan in its entirety, you know that it is there, and it is for the highest good of yourself and all involved. But the idea of surrender is simply you acknowledging, while in physical form, that you are not going to stand in the way. You are surrendering yourself to the higher plan based on that trust.
Whereas, Allowing says that you are not going to put anything in the way, that you are not going to erect any obstacles in the way, based most likely on your own ego’s perceptions of what is the right thing to do. That can be difficult to discern, we acknowledge. But as always, go into your heart and ask for guidance on what is the best for all concerned. And when you feel it, then you will know. I think that is enough for now. Thank you so much.
